Best of the best - indoor and outdoor 2020

The season ended so we can come to conclusions, summaries... Today, we are going to look through the most interesting and the most important events of indoor and outdoor seasons in 2020 - which are mostly connected to Armand Duplantis, but what can I do? He rocks this town, being honest.
Starting from the indoor part of the year...
DUSSELDORF
It's, of course, the place where we found out how great is Duplantis' shape and what he's able to jump very soon. His six meters jump was brilliant. After this, 6.17 attempts. I'm curious what's going on in an athlete's head before something great like this. I assume we as fans could be more stressed than Mondo.
The first attempt wasn't bad - even if not cleared. We saw, after inversion, what this man can do it.
The second attempt was just outstanding, that was unbelievable! I was sure he did it, like many other people. Armand himself was a great moment couldn't understand that he actually missed it.
The third wasn't that good, but we were looking forward to Copernicus Cup - another occasion.

TORUŃ
We came to Toruń with expectations. Everyone was mega excited, couldn't wait for the begging of the Copernicus Cup. From the start, Swede was showing excellent jumps - this moment was coming. 6.01 looked like a dream. Incredible jump, of course, from the technical side as well. Armand Duplantis was making a show - show that people will remember forever. The first attempt gave us a little heart attack, I think. Another trial that showed how high he can go, even if he couldn't clear the bar. And then 6.17- second attempt...It was just outstanding. Screams of the crowds and other pole vaulters, TV viewers... It was a historical moment. Maybe it was even the most amazing moment in 2020?

GLASGOW
No words for this man! Just incredible event, incredible 6.18. He did it once again, in the best style I have ever seen. The moment we realized - this man won't stop. Everything played well together, so he was able to set history once again and make tears show in our eyes.

to the outdoor...

MONACO
After this long break caused by the pandemic, Armand Duplantis still had his outstanding shape. He came straight from 5.80 to 6.00, which he cleared in third attempts. That was just a preview of great things that happened in this outdoor season.

STOCKHOLM
In Sweden, we got another clear six meters jump, and after that, outdoor world record attempts. 6.14 was already twenty-six years old, set by Sergey Bubka. Since this Diamond League in Stockholm, we've known that this record is going to come, and we were tuning in for it.

LAUSANNE
Diamond League in Lausanne - even if I think this is not the very best moment of this year, it's definitely the best competition. This brilliant fight between Sam Kendricks and Mondo Duplantis over six meters bar... Just stunning. There was also a great atmosphere. Lights from fans' phones to help pole vaulters, cheering for everyone, these stars... Oh, I've really enjoyed it.

ROME
The last one - Rome. We've been waiting for this moment, and we have seen it. Armand Duplantis was jumping amazingly, even in worse time at 5.85, which he cleared in his second attempt - we saw the relief on his face.
The first attempt at 6.15 was very, very close - the second one was this one. It just looked perfect. I have no words for his amazing job.
Just outstanding.
